Dear IEEE Indonesia Section Members,
- IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP), one of the official annual conference owned and organized by the IEEE REGION 10 (Asia Pacific) is happening in Bali, Indonesia this year. In line with this, IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals in collaboration with IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) is organizing an exclusive IEEE TENSYMP Young Professionals track which is open to all the IEEE Young Professional members and graduating student members from IEEE Region 10.
Event details are as follows.
Date: 8th May 2016
Time: 8:00 – 4:00 PM WITA
Venue: Sanur Plaza Convention Centre, Bali
An expert panel of speakers will feature in the event who will speak on various technological and humanitarian aspects, in which the young technocrats can massively contribute. The sessions are lined up to give the participants a broader view of the emerging technological concept of Internet of Things (IoT) and how it can be deployed to community development. It will also include a special brainstorming session conducted by IEEE SIGHT which will ponder ideas to solve the community issues using technology. More details can be found on the attached poster.

Possible Outcomes:
- Increase in Young Professionals Participation in the TENSYMP and increased engagement and value for TENSYMP participants to attend an additional networking activity for free. Increased value for TENSYMP registration.
- IEEE Indonesia Young Professionals will have the opportunity to volunteer with a Region 10 Level team as well as conference organizers creating volunteering opportunities.
- Participants have an opportunity to network and get to know the other participants and members of IEEE Indonesia Section.
- Young Professional members of IEEE Indonesia section have the opportunity to meet and interact with the conference participants during the event, which might not be available during the Conference.
