On May 14, 2023, the IEEE Region 10 (R10) Director attended the IEEE Indonesia Section (IS) Executive and Advisory Committee Meeting. While the Excom consists of the current officers of the Section, the Adcom consists of all of the Past Chairs of the Indonesia Section. It was the first off-line Excom/Adcom meeting held by the Section since the pandemic, which was held in the BINUS ASO School of Engineering in Tangerang and organized by the IEEE Indonesia BINUS University Student Branch. The meeting wis attended by twenty (20) IEEE IS Excom members, six (6) Adcom members, six (6) BINUS Student Branch officers and their Student Branch Counselor. The meeting was welcomed by IEEE IS Vice Chair Dr. Agnes Irawati followed by a report from IEEE IS Chair Prof. Gamantyo Hendrantoro on achievements, challenges and next plans for the Section, during which he also introduced the Section officers one by one to the audience as this was the first face-to-face meeting held by the Section after the pandemic.
Afterward, the IEEE R10 Director Prof. Lance Fung delivered a speech on challenges and opportunities in Region 10. He presented the current situation in Region 10, which currently have around 69000 members, 60 sections and 42 subsections. He also explained the on-going preparations for the planned splitting of Region 10. Prof. Fung said that the Indonesia Section is increasingly active in organizing regional conferences. In line with that, he wished an active participation by the IEEE Indonesia Section to support the new region that will result from the region splitting.
Lastly, the workshop celebrates the 35th anniversary of IEEE Indonesia with a birthday cake and a photo session. The celebration took some emotional moments when some of the Past Chairs reflected on how they struggled to maintain the life of the Section during difficult times, even by sacrificing their own money to fund events. The whole meeting was followed by informal-yet-fruitful talks and exchanges of ideas among the attendants.

The success of the event was considerably enhanced by their kind reception and support.
